Ursula Wevers, The Elbe in Front of the North Sea, 2001, Video, Stills

The Elbe in Front of the North Sea shows exactly what the artist's camera was able to record (filming through the window of her car) at this place during nearly half an hour. It seems impossible to get any closer to nature with filmic means.

In 1969, Ursula Wevers and her husband Gerry Schum helped Land Art to make a breakthrough as a new movement in art with their first film project for Fernsehgalerie (TV gallery).
